Permanent Makeup
We know that getting permanent makeup is a big decision! Whether you’re new to the world of PMU or just have a few questions before your appointment, we’ve got you covered.
-
Permanent makeup—also known as cosmetic tattooing or micropigmentation— involves implanting pigment into the skin to enhance features like eyebrows, lips, and eyeliner. It’s not as deep as a traditional tattoo, so results gradually fade over time.
-
Results typically last 1-3 years, depending on your skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare. Most clients schedule touch-ups annually to keep things looking fresh.
-
Discomfort is minimal! We use topical numbing agents during the procedure to keep you as comfortable as possible. Most clients describe the sensation as a light scratching or pressure.
-
Healing takes about 7–14 days, with full results visible after 4–6 weeks. You’ll notice some flaking or fading in the first week—that’s totally normal! We’ll walk you through all the aftercare steps and explain what the different stages of healing look like!
-
We currently offer powder brows and combo brows with nano strokes. We are working towards offerering eye liner and lip blushing.
(We do not offer microblading.)
-
Microblading uses a handheld tool with ultra-fine needles to deposit pigment beneath the surface of the skin in the pattern of hair strokes and is meant to mimic individual hairs.
Powder brows uses a handheld machine with ultra-fine needles to deposit pigment that creates a soft, shaded effect like brow powder or pencil.
We can add nano strokes with a machine to mimic hair strokes, but do not offer microblading.
-
Most healthy adults are great candidates! PMU is especially helpful for people with:
Sparse or uneven brows
Busy lifestyles
Allergies to traditional makeup
Hair loss due to medical conditions
Certain conditions (like pregnancy, uncontrolled diabetes, or specific medications) may affect your eligibility—we’ll review everything at your consultation.
-
Avoid alcohol, caffeine, and blood thinners 24 hours before.
No tanning, chemical peels, or retinols at least 1 week prior.
Come in with clean, makeup-free skin.
We’ll send you a full prep guide when you book!
-
We provide detailed aftercare instructions and a healing kit, but here are the basics:
Keep the area clean and dry.
Avoid sweating, swimming, or sun exposure for 10 days.
No picking or scratching!
Following aftercare closely ensures beautiful, long-lasting results.
-
Pricing varies by service. We pride ourselves on offering accessible beauty, so our rates are competitive and include your initial appointment plus a complimentary touch-up at 6–8 weeks.
-
Not exactly! PMU fades over time and may require touch-ups to maintain. It’s called “permanent” because pigment is implanted into the skin, but results are semi-permanent in nature.
-
Absolutely—and we encourage it! Our consultations are relaxed, pressure-free, and informative. We’ll discuss your goals, skin type, and answer all your questions.
You have the option to book a phone consultation to ask all the questions you want or an in person consult and mapping session, which we do charge for, but the cost is deducted from your service!
